We only live 1/4 mile from his children and ex. She refuses to address him as "dad" to the children. She does not allow us any information about the kids daily lifes. She tells the children lies about their father, which in turn makes them scared of him. She is well known in the community for causing trouble and lying. What can we do. We hear the children tell us how their step father takes a spatula to them to punish them. We are at a loss on what we can do. We can’t financially afford a lawyer who will charge us thousands of dollars.

There have been cases of misunderstanding amongst the relationships of the members of the family. Children and teenagers are often disgusted with the parenting styles of their parents, claiming that there is something wrong with them. Parents, in the other hand, always worry about the daily circumstances involving their children. So, therefore they get anxious because they look for things that will worry them. In short, they focus on anxiety.

Children often lie to the parents because they are scared of the consequences. They want to feel free and to explore their limitations and potentials in all aspects of development.

So, I ask now,
1) Why can’t they hold a meeting where most issues will be discussed and be resolved?
2) Why are the children often insecure?
3) Why can’t they go to family therapy, if they can’t resolve issues? Are financial deficits a problem?
4) So, what makes the essence of misunderstanding in the family relations? Why is it that family members frequently misunderstand each other?
5) How would make a typical family member be understanding to each other?

Lastly, What would you do if you are the parent in the family?

I truly believe that the "problems of the society are the problems of the family"

I know there are so many factors regarding this. But I would rather focus on the genetic and environmental factors.

How do parents justify lying to their children about things like this (which symbolize materialism, before anything else) and then demand honestly from their children?

My almost 4 year old had never ever lied in her life and since yesterday she has became a master, I caught her doing something almost red handed and she stared me in the eyes kept a straight face and said her older sister had done it over and over again, I only realised when I sent her sister away and miss almost 4 giggled profusely.
Today she has told 3 lies while keeping a straight face, looking directly at me same tone of voice.
Is this normal, it seems so out of character
Her older sister would fib from an early age (2) and got more believeable but I always no when she lies as she is terrible at it.
Children and lying when do they master it?
And what does it mean if she is so good at it ?
Why has she only just started ?

My fiance lost his children in a nasty divorce and child custody hearing. We live in Mississippi and they favor women in child custody cases. His ex-wife is abusive to the children and we have gotten proof. We went to our local D.H.S and the children told them everything. They accused the children of lying and the father of coaching his kids. We even had pictures of injuries their mother left on their bodies. They even had some on them when we went in and showed them. Still it didn’t help. We have been continually reporting these things to our d.h.s and the children have been telling their teachers and counselors at school things that happen to them while in their mothers care, nothing happens. Since then his oldest soon has been molested while in his mother care and nothing has been done by d.h.s. He was tested for molestation by a doc. that our d.h.s referred and when it came back positive they said he was not a credited doc. by them. We have even reported the local d.h.s to our state government, still nothing has been done. The children are 11, 8, and 6. There is still a lot of abuse that I didn’t have room to put on here. We don’t know what to do, and the children are loosing hope and don’t want to talk anymore because their mother finds out what they are reporting about her and they suffer for talking against her. Please help.

Why when the child objects and tells people that they feel their parent’s love is a lie, people call them delusional and order them (sometimes by law) to love their parents in return.

If the child has no physical proof of what they claim, is that child lying or stating the truth?
