You might forgive him, but you will never forget the fact that he lied to you. It is VERY hard to ever trust that person again once you have caught them in a lie. Me personally, if I ever catch you in a lie, I’m done!

It all depends on what he lied about not saying a small lie is okay cause honestly is the best policy and you cant get in trouble for telling the truth, you could trust him again but it is up to him to prove to you that he is trustworthy he messed up he needs to try to earn your trust back but also let him know that a relationship is based on trust and without that you have nothing and it is okay to tell you the truth even if he thinks it will hurt your feelings or you will be mad at him cause chances are if he lies and you find out you are going to be way more pissed ya know?

what did he lie about?? that really makes the difference but since i dont kno wat the lie was i think that he will have to gain ur trust bak by him showin u that he is being trust worthy….it depends on the person also but i think u will be able to trust again…..u have to forgive in order for God to forgive u but that dnt mean u will 4 get. Let him do all the makin up to u

Like others said, it depends on what they lied about.
But in the end, there is no ”beginning to forgive”. You either forgive or you don’t. It’s a choice you have to make.
