What would make more of a difference is if there was fact checking. Many participants make up facts.

It would be useful to be able to identify people who keep changing their identity or have more than one. For example, Object of Its Ire has been Hunny Bunny for a couple of weeks, and flitted through several before that changing every few days.
Other than that I don’t know how much deception goes on. I tend to take people at their word.

not much. Lie detectors don’t work very well. I’ve beaten them (even the ones that use retinal scanners). Just takes practice. Know a guy that gives them for a living. Works for attorneys preparing cases. How I learned. He says they are not reliable, too.
I know what you mean…that would be super interesting! There’s this lie detection software that I’ve tried once, it’s really fun. I hope this mechanism that you’ve mentioned will come out soon though!
