is this a sign of lying? or honesty?

i thought my boyfriend was cheating. I had been noticing weird things for about a month or so, but no solid or strong evidence. after explaining to him why i thought he cheated and him explaining his side and whatever else, he goes "so what would you like me to do". I told him to just be honest with me.

The thing is when ive lied before sometimes i say "so what would you like me to do" because i feel guilty for doing something bad. Is him asking what he can do a sign he has secretly done something bad? or is it normal and he just wants to know what to do so i dont think hes cheating when hes not?

on a side note he was very calm during our conversation and open to all my questions

I believe that just because you’ve lied and said the same thing that he did does not technically mean that he would be cheating on you.

I think instead of trying so hard to find out if he is cheating on you or not, try and find a way for you guys to get closer instead because if anything, if you spying on him all the time and accusing him of cheat, then the relationship is destine to be something that you won’t like.

If he has been calm and open to your questions, I think you should give him the benefit of the doubt and just enjoy your relationship!

Hmmm…….. maybe he and you should move on if you can’t trust one another. I bet he is tired of you hassling him. If you trust him, he is telling the truth, if you don’t he wasn’t. If you can’t trust him, move on, he will be better off for it.
