She is projecting confidence, I think she did way to much training because she is highly robotic in her langauge. That is the only downside.

  2. jess5111

I’m not really interested in detecting lies or how to lie. I just have a weird curiosity of people around me. lol

  3. wonderingworlds

    Too scary staff;
How could anyone dare even insinuating a Forty, Fifty, Sixty year old laborer, whose hands have bended inwards from decades of honest hard manual work is outright lying?

  4. roodllib

she’s just cashing in … knowledge of nvc’s can be useful … she’s just selling it to her audience … she looks like she’s going thru the sales pitch for the thousanth time … some of what she said was just rubbish

  15. watchmaker37

    Utter BULLSHIT.

You can tell she doesn’t know what she’s talking about (but likes to think she does) because she misuses the famous 55-38-7 statistic from Mehrabian. It’s the most common mistake by people who don’t actually know the research (just pay it lip service).

Those statistics refer to the communication of LIKING, not communication in general. Plus, the study only included images of the face (no body) and it only involved females. She’d know that if she were a real “expert.”

    wow I like this

  17. wrxbungle

yeah wtf i wanna know! lol

  18. orangeblueandlavenda

lol, i can tell that she’s puting on airs a bit because she is raiing her eyebrows :) Which is also another clue to what someone is thinking, ot leaving out. Sometimes they will squint thier eyebrows, however you have to know how to interpret these things correctly based upon other factors – but it’s an interesting thing ( :

  21. iamlondon

Such complete crap. The only signals you can gain are comfort versus discomfort nonverbals. This is dangerous trash- buy Joe Navarro’s books instead of listening to this horse manure.

  22. westmeat

this bitch is retarded.. to learn how to really read body language check out manhood101 . com

  23. ShamanHerb

I read a lying bullshit run away train from her

  24. aeske

Did she even read Mehrabian or is she just retelling a misunderstanding? Another thing is, you cannot tell anything without context. If she’s an expert on the subject I guess I must be a professor, because it doesn’t take much to know more than she does. Honey, start reading Wundt, Efron, Birdwhistell, Kendon, McNeill instead of that cheap litterature you’ve become an expert on..

  25. mckfrr

You people are all stupid, she’s telling the truth, most of what you are saying it is body language, lol you just don’t want to believe it.

  26. Nicole from Life Coaching Courses

Interesting. It seems to make intuitive sense. Will definitely be more observant of people’s hands next time. What kind of research supports these assertions about hand/finger placement and their relation to honesty?

Excellent post. This simply shows that action speaks louder than words. Through action also a person can be known whether he is telling the truth or not.

Nonverbal communication is the best way to get a clue about who you are dealing with friend or person without them saying a word. It is also good to use when you want to scope out the situation, pay attention to the body, it talks to. Although it is not an exact science, it can be accurate.

  30. Sarah from Lauren Clark Photography

Body language may depict something. Hand shakes is a symbol of respect, appreciation and friendship. However, this should not the basis for judging a person. It should come in two ways too, verbal and body language. It would be bias to a person being judged through body language.

  31. Melissa from Ginny Corbett Photography

I estimate a person through nonverbal communication. Sometimes a person’s best attitude is revealed through his actions. Though I also consider verbal communication but body language is more sincere.

  32. Hannah Montana DVD

Yeah this video is really interesting as I am really interested to notice how people walk, how they carry themselves and how their faces appear during the day etc as it gives a clue about them. It is something very important coz most of the times words are inadequate to express our feelings ri8? Sometimes just a pat on the shoulder, a kiss on forehead or tight holding can say a lot than a thousand words ri8? What I feel is when you speak, always try to speak with eye contact, coz what you think or feel can be easily explicit from your eyes. Yeah I feel she can probably shine in sales jobs: P coz she talks well and of course it can really make you sit in your seats! Is it not? Ty.
