Why is it that Family Members (parents and children) frequently misunderstand each other?

There have been cases of misunderstanding amongst the relationships of the members of the family. Children and teenagers are often disgusted with the parenting styles of their parents, claiming that there is something wrong with them. Parents, in the other hand, always worry about the daily circumstances involving their children. So, therefore they get anxious because they look for things that will worry them. In short, they focus on anxiety.

Children often lie to the parents because they are scared of the consequences. They want to feel free and to explore their limitations and potentials in all aspects of development.

So, I ask now,
1) Why can’t they hold a meeting where most issues will be discussed and be resolved?
2) Why are the children often insecure?
3) Why can’t they go to family therapy, if they can’t resolve issues? Are financial deficits a problem?
4) So, what makes the essence of misunderstanding in the family relations? Why is it that family members frequently misunderstand each other?
5) How would make a typical family member be understanding to each other?

Lastly, What would you do if you are the parent in the family?

I truly believe that the "problems of the society are the problems of the family"

I know there are so many factors regarding this. But I would rather focus on the genetic and environmental factors.

Why are some children forced to believe that their parents love them?

Yes it is done, all the time.

Why when the child objects and tells people that they feel their parent’s love is a lie, people call them delusional and order them (sometimes by law) to love their parents in return.

If the child has no physical proof of what they claim, is that child lying or stating the truth?

i am writing an essay about the dangers or troubles of social networking website like MySpace.

of course parents will be concerned about their children lying online… but why? I already used up predators and cyberbullies as two of my arguments. What else are parents concerned? the only one i can think of is bad behavior, the question is, what kind of bad behavior?

Many parents teach their children that lying is a really bad thing, especially lying to parents. Turns out that a lot of parents are hypocrites and regularly lie to their children in order to influence their behavior and emotions. Parenting by lying ranges from telling tall tales (about the tooth fairy, for example), to fibbing ("Tommy, what a beautiful drawing!"), to manipulation in order to change the child’s behavior.

aren’t they afraid of the lie being discovered and the consequences of that?
or do they think they they are too smart and the wife is too stupid for the lie to be ever discovered?

i was married to a porn addict, narcissist and pathological liar who was joined at the hip with his parents. of course the marriage didn’t survive, but i wonder why would one want to get married in the first place if the relationship was built on lies? what was his plan B if he got caught?
